Whatever you focus on, it gets bigger. It’s important to celebrate successes for your own wellbeing as well as that of the whole school community. By remembering and learning from what went well, you lift the spirits of the school and make your staff, pupils and parents feel valued and proud of what they’ve achieved. It also motivates you to continue to achieve.
There are many ways, big and small that you can celebrate success. Some examples are given here, and we are also using this as area of the website as a platform to celebrate some of the fantastic work that Derby schools have been doing across the city to improve their lives of Derby children.
