Emotion Coaching
Emotion coaching is a communication system which helps children and young people regulate their emotions. Through empathetic engagement the child's emotional state is verbally acknowledged and validated, promoting a sense of security and containment. This activates changes in the child's neurological system and allows the child to calm down, physiologically and psychologically. This 2 day training event can also be delivered through several twilight sessions.

Emotional Literacy Support Assistant Training (ELSA)
This training is designed to support TAs/Support Assistants working with children who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties. Following completion of the 5 days of training ELSAs are given supervision from EPs once every half-term.

Zones of Regulation
This is a systematic, cognitive behavioral approach which teaches students to recongise, and categorise the way they feel. The framework supports the development of social thinking skills and explores different strategies to support emotional regulation. This approach can be delivered as an intervention or as whole school approach. Training packages can be negotiated with link EPs.
